Site Registration
Who can register?
Site Registration is for Brierwood residents only. This includes owners of either a residence or vacant land and those that rent/live in the Brierwood community.
What is the purpose of registering?
While visitors have access to a large portion of the site, there are a few pages that have information for Brierwood residents (members) only. Once registered and logged in, several new access links will appear in the menu, such as the Forum (a reference area of information) and the Donation/Volunteer page.
Also, at various times, the site can notify residents (members) of important information about Brierwood. Having contact details of residents will allow for those notifications.
How does the registration process work?
Once a resident submits their registration, a website administrator will verify the information to determine if the registrant is a owner of property in Brierwood or lives in the community.
If the information cannot be verified, the registration will be denied but the registrant will be asked for more information to prove ownership or residency. If the application for registration can then be verified, approval will be granted. If the information is verified, the resident will be notified of approval within 24 to 72 hours (sooner at times.) The registrant can then log on with their submitted username/password.
Is my contact information kept private?
Yes. First, your personal information; email, phone number, address is kept only on the Brierwood.info server or in a backup file held by the administrators. Second, it is not shared freely or sold to any third-party. Third, Brierwood.info is protected with SSL, or Secure Sockets Layer, an encryption-based Internet security protocol. This also offers greater protection of information, not only contact info but when any residence contributes money to the Brierwood Association, Committees, Groups or Clubs on the Volunteer/Donate page.
