Oak Island Pier, Oak Island Beach
Take part in the 5th Annual New Year's Day Lantern Parade at the Oak Island Pier. Bring your handcrafted or premade paper lanterns to the meetup at 5:00 PM. When the sun begins to set at 5:30 PM, everyone will walk east together from the pier just past the McGlamery St. access and back, showing off their stunning paper lanterns along the way!
