On September 15th, 2017 the Brierwood Association was formed for the purpose of keeping the community informed of important news and information pertaining to the community. 

The Brierwood Association also involves a number of groups that exist for the benefit of the Brierwood community.

The Community Beautification Group maintains the front entrance area as a community improvement. The Safety and Security Group performs citizen patrols of Brierwood. The Social Group plans and organizes community group activities.
